The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence both in the classroom and in the field. Teaching responsibilities will include our general biology series for majors, a genetics course for majors, and marine biology courses for majors. A Ph.D. in marine biology or the biological sciences with expertise in marine biology and molecular/genetic analysis is required and post-doctoral experience is preferred.
