The Siepielski Evolutionary Ecology lab (https://asiepielski.wordpress.com) is hiring a short-term, 6-month lab technician position in quantitative genetics. Job duties include rearing and maintenance of damselfly larvae and assisting with digestive physiology experiments, as well as care and maintenance of fish in an aquarium setting. Some local field work will also be required. The position requires a high attention to detail and record-keeping. The technician will work closely with the PI, a post-doctoral scholar, and undergraduates to complete the work. Work will be conducted on the main campus at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Pay rate is 16-17$/hr, 40 hrs/week. Ideal start date is late May, but there is some flexibility.
