Dear Colleagues, Applications for the Smithsonian Institution Fellowship Program (SIFP) are now open. The deadline is October 15th, 2024. The Smithsonian Institution Fellowship Program offers opportunities for independent research to graduate students and postdoctoral researchers related to Smithsonian collections, facilities, and staff expertise. Smithsonian researchers serve as advisors for the in-residence fellows. Eligibility: Fellowship category is based on the anticipated academic level at the time the fellowship would begin. Postdoctoral - up to five years beyond the Ph.D. Predoctoral - for doctoral candidates to conduct dissertation research. Ten-Week Graduate Student Fellowships - any graduate students.
