Call for Papers – Special Issue in Heredity

We invite submissions for a Special Issue in Heredity titled:
“Functional and Adaptive Effects of Genomic Structural Variation.”

This issue will explore how structural variants drive phenotypic
changes and influence adaptive evolution across a wide range of
species, with a particular emphasis on their functional impacts.

We welcome original research articles, reviews, and opinion pieces.
The submission deadline is March 1st, 2025. Articles will be published
as advanced online publications (AOP) as they become available, with a
6-month free access period for non-Open Access articles.
