We are pleased to announce a Call for Papers for a Special Issue in Heredity titled "Functional and Adaptive Effects of Genomic Structural Variation." This issue will explore how structural variants drive phenotypic changes and influence adaptive evolution across a wide range of species, with a particular focus on their functional impacts. We invite submissions of original research articles, reviews, and opinion pieces. The submission deadline is March 1st, 2025. Articles will be published as advanced online publications (AOP) as they become ready, with a 6-month free access period for non-Open Access articles.
