A two-year postdoctoral research position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Michael Russello at The University of British Columbia (Okanagan Campus) in the area of population and conservation genomics starting October 1, 2025. I am looking for a highly motivated individual to join our group studying the genomic basis of adaptation and vulnerability to changing environments in North American pikas. The project offers opportunities for both laboratory and field-based research, and direct collaboration with Provincial, Federal and Indigenous management agencies. Interested individuals must have strong bioinformatic and analytical skills. Prior experience with analyzing whole genome resequencing is highly desirable.
