Dear all,=20 registrations are now open for the upcoming Physalia online course: RAD-seq Data Analysis Dates: 27=9631 October Course website: ( https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/course16/ ) This course provides a comprehensive introduction to reduced representation genome sequencing methods (e.g., RAD-seq, ddRAD, 2bRAD, GBS) with a focus on analysing data using Stacks. Participants will learn how to go from raw short-read data to informative genome variants suitable for population genetics, phylogenetics, and genome-wide association studies. Each day will include an introductory lecture with class discussion of key concepts. The remainder of each day will consist of practical hands-on sessions. These sessions will involve a combination of both mirroring exercises with the instructor to demonstrate a skill as well as applying these skills on your own to complete individual exercises. After and during each exercise, interpretation of results will be discussed as a group.
