Dear all, We are excited to announce our upcoming online course on Seascape Genomics in R, happening from 28 October to 1 November. Course website: ( https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/course70/ ) Seascape genomics is a rapidly growing field that delves into how underwater surroundings influence the genomic diversity and connectivity of marine organisms. In this course, students will learn how to extract environmental data from databases to analyze sea conditions. The focus then shifts to evaluating genetic structures and population connectivity in the marine environment. Combining environmental and genomic data will explore local adaptation, identifying genetic signatures related to environmental conditions. The course emphasizes result interpretation for conservation, management, and designing seascape genomics experiments based on scientific questions.
