Dear all, We are pleased to announce the Physalia in-person course "Machine Learning for Multi-Omics Integration", which will take place from 15-17 December at the University of Barcelona, Faculty of Biology (Dept. Evolutionary Biology, Ecology & Environmental Sciences, IRBio). Dates & Location15-17 December University of Barcelona, IRBio, Av. Diagonal, 643, 08028 Barcelona, Spain Course website: ( https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/multiomics-barcelona/ ) In this course, we will cover machine learning methodologies for integrating large amounts of biological data. The program combines lectures and hands-on sessions, covering supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning approaches, as well as single-cell omics integration. Participants will learn to: Understand machine learning approaches for biological data analysis Apply integrative omics methods (e.g. mixOmics, MOFA, Seurat) Design and implement integrative projects Choose appropriate tools and methodologies for their research This is our only in-person Physalia course in 2025.
