Experimental and Computational Methods: A Call for Papers

GENETICS, the flagship journal of the Genetics Society of America, is calling for submission of papers for a Special Issue on Experimental and Computational Methods.

Current research in genetics comprises analyses of single genes up to those that are genomic in scale, with high-throughput sequencing, phenotyping and other approaches routinely generating massive amounts of data. The ability to use these genetic and genomic data to advance knowledge requires advances in both experimental and computational methods. This Special Issue will highlight both types of methods as well as studies that benchmark and compare existing experimental or computational tools.

Editors Stan Fields (University of Washington, USA), Maria Chikina (University of Pittsburgh, USA), and Konrad Lohse (University of Edinburgh, UK) will oversee this Special Issue. The submission deadline is March 1, 2025.
