PhD scholarship in Palaeogenomics and Bioinformatics DTU Health Tech, Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark This 3-year PhD position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of palaeogenomics, bioinformatics, and evolutionary biology. The project focuses on developing novel computational methods to improve genomic analyses of degraded or low-quality DNA, enabling robust population genomic inference for extinct species. Applicants should hold (or soon obtain) a two-year MSc degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, evolutionary genomics, or related fields. Strong programming skills and familiarity with NGS data and genome assembly are expected. The position is full-time, starting 1 February 2026 (or by agreement).
