MaxPlanckInstitutePloen_Germany.IMPRSEvolBio IMPRS EvolBio offers a variety of doctoral positions at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology Ploen, Germany, starting in September 2026. The program includes a six-month training period followed by a doctoral project of three years. The doctoral researchers are mentored by their principal investigator and an individual thesis advisory committee. Training includes seminars, courses (including soft-skill courses), workshops, an annual retreat, opportunities to attend international meetings and visit collaborating laboratories. The language of the graduate school is English. German language courses for beginners are offered to foreign researchers. All positions are fully funded for three and a half years. Funding beyond this time period may be available through departmental awards or from the supervisor.
