Hello all, The Moeller Lab at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities is seeking a field research assistant for the Summer of 2024. Our work involves the evolution and ecology of native California plants. Position overview: The successful applicant will assist with a number of exciting ongoing projects involving annual flowers in the genus Clarkia. The work will take place in the Eldorado National Forest in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California. Qualifications: Some undergraduate education in ecology, botany, or a related field. Enthusiasm for working outdoors for extended periods of time in variable weather conditions. Timeline: June 17 - July 31, 2024 (with some flexibility) Compensation: $15/hour, plus airfare and lodging.
