Postdoctoral position available in the group of Daniel Ruzzante at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada A two-year postdoctoral position is available in the group of Daniel Ruzzante at Dalhousie University pending a successful NSERC/Mitacs funding application. The candidate will be part of the Northern Cod Acoustic Tracking (NCAT) project in partnership with the Ocean Tracking Network (OTN), Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), and the Atlantic Groundfish Council. The candidate's work will focus on examining the relationship between genomics and movement in Atlantic cod. The candidate must have experience in population genetics with a successful publication record and proficiency in bioinformatics and the analysis of low-coverage whole genome sequencing data (lcWGS). Ideally, the candidate will also be knowledgeable in acoustic and satellite tracking data analysis.
