This position will support PhyloFisher v2: Advancing Accuracy and Reproducibility in Deep Phylogenomics, a project funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. The successful candidate will contribute to research at the interface of evolutionary genomics, high-performance computing, and software/database development for large-scale phylogenomic workflows. The position emphasizes reproducible phylogenomic inference across deep evolutionary timescales and diverse lineages. Qualifications. Applicants should have experience with next-generation sequencing data analysis and strong written and oral communication skills. Expertise in phylogenomics and proficiency in Python and/or R are strongly preferred. Familiarity with both eukaryotic and prokaryotic phylogenies is desirable. Research Environment.
