A postdoctoral research position is available at the Institute of Ecology
and Evolution, University of Edinburgh, in the lab of Helen Alexander
(https://biology.ed.ac.uk/alexander). The postdoc will investigate
emergence of antibiotic resistance in bacterial populations, using in
vitro experiments. Candidates should have experience in experimental
work with microbes, knowledge of evolutionary/ecological concepts, and
good skills in experimental design, data processing and statistics. The
position is for 16 months, ideally starting around Sept./Oct. 2025
but with considerable flexibility in start date. The closing date for
