SymbNET PhD Summer School on Host-Microbe Symbioses Where: Gulbenkian Institute for Molecular Medicine (GIMM) and Católica Biomedical Research Centre (CBR), Oeiras (Lisbon), Portugal When: July 6 -19, 2025 About: This Summer School is designed for PhD students (second or later years) interested in host-microbe symbioses to acquire an in-depth understanding of the field from diverse perspectives through interaction with experts in this research area. The Summer School is two weeks long, with 20 lecturers and 35 PhD students. The programme includes lectures, research seminars, and the development of a short-written research project by the student. We are committed to admitting talented students from diverse backgrounds and will prioritize applicants from low- and middle-income countries or institutions unable to support their participation in the Summer School.
